Fierce Hunt – Captured by Love’s Wild Power

shirtless man embraced by a tiger in a dark, intimate scene

Did love pounce before you even knew you were prey?

A tiger
treated me as his prey,
and revealed there was much to unearth.

A fierce hunt
ensnared my hidden heart,
but I knew true love when caught by him.

His embrace,
caress and words of strength
gave me a brief moment of rebirth.

—H, devoured by desire and reborn in his arms

This poem follows a 3–6–9 syllabic structure – a form inspired by Nikola Tesla’s theory of energy, rhythm and repetition.
