Outdated Bigot: Silenced by the Chorus of Conformity

When did disagreement become a sin worth burning for?

I bowed my White guilt over the scapegoat,
and felt their demonisation axe fall.
I recalled how they blamed me for their ills:
culture is more than a name on a wall!

My delicate, soft pink lips remained gagged
while others screamed their inequality.
A minority with greater numbers,
they failed to see their own dishonesty.

To Remain confirmed moral righteousness,
and the destruction of democracy.
Liberals cut my tongue to bleed the hate;
free speech exposed left-wing hypocrisy.

Shouted down as an outdated bigot;
only one side was allowed to belong.
Placed under a dunce cap for opposing,
and shaming those who make opinions wrong.
