Beasts of Terror

Full of hate,
they rushed across the land;
we cried while beasts of terror arrived.

Men erased
from the gullible minds;
women and children could pose no threat.

Shamed online,
if you raised the warning
that leaders cared not if you survived.

Outdated Bigot

liberals cut my tongue to bleed the hate

queens snorted and screamed

wrapped me in snug warm wool

dulled my mind and left my soul despaired

deceit drained our desire to flower

I always believed life would be fair
