Veins of Corruption

Corruption:
leaders spinning for greed;
feet dragged in the filth of apathy.

Deception:
media hiding truths;
racing to their own gain without shame.

Perversion:
Church molesting God’s name;
prayers of consumed dishonesty.

Beaten and Broken

wrapped me in snug warm wool

probably when I became menstrual

for whispered words of wretched weather

liberals cut my tongue to bleed the hate

deceit drained our desire to flower

I wish I were brave enough to speak

to be rescued from this icy place
